Is a random number wheel truly random?

Yes. Each number is chosen using unbiased rejection sampling on secure random values, and the result is fixed before the animation. You can check any spin with the published seed on our randomness page. For a classic look with a two-to-twenty slice spinner, see the number spinner.

      Frequently asked questions

How do I pick a random number between 1 and 100?

Tap the 1-100 preset (or enter From 1, To 100 and press “Fill the wheel”), then spin. Each number has exactly a 1% chance.

Can I avoid getting the same number twice?

Yes. Turn on “Remove winner automatically” in Settings. Each drawn number is removed, like a bingo or lottery machine.

      Can I exclude certain numbers?

Type them in the “Exclude numbers” box separated by commas, for example 7, 13, then press “Fill the wheel”.

How large can the range be?

Up to 1,000 numbers per wheel. With very large ranges the labels are too small to read on the wheel, but the result is shown in large text.

Is this a random number generator wheel?

Yes. Set a range and the wheel of numbers fills itself, so it works as a number generator wheel and a number wheel spinner. Use it for bingo calls, raffles or maths games, and switch on auto-remove so no number comes up twice.
