Random Picker & Randomizer Wheel
Paste any list and let the randomizer pick one item, several items or a full random order. Every pick is fair, recorded and can be exported.
Tap the wheel, flick it, or press Ctrl + Enter
Large list: edit it in Text view.
Tip: add *3 after an entry to triple its chance, or a colour like #16A34A to colour its slice.
…This hash locks in the next result before you spin. After the spin we reveal the seed so anyone can check it.Pick, shuffle or rank, three ways to randomize

- Pick oneThe default: spin and get a single random item.
- Pick severalSet “Winners per spin” up to 10 for a random sample without repeats.
- Random orderPress Shuffle, or draw every item in one spin to get a ranked random order.
How to use the random picker

- Paste your list, or import it from a .txt/.csv file.
- Optional: add weights, choose how many items to pick and turn on auto-remove.
- Spin, then copy or export the results from the Results tab.
Things people randomize every day

A randomizer is useful whenever choosing yourself would feel unfair or slow: which task to tackle first, which restaurant to try, which question to ask next in a quiz, the order of speakers, a random day for a meeting, or which chore each housemate gets. For numbers use the random number wheel; for people, the wheel of names adds team tools.
Why our randomizer is unbiased
Simple randomizers often use Math.random() and modulo arithmetic, which can favour some items very slightly and cannot be audited. We use rejection sampling with secure random numbers, so every item gets exactly its share, and we show a hash commitment before each spin. Read how randomness works for the full method.
Tips
- Use the Days or Months preset to pick a random date range quickly.
- Remove duplicates with one click if your list came from a spreadsheet.
- Need several lists at once, like person + task + deadline? Use the combo wheel.
Frequently asked questions
What is a random picker?
A random picker (or randomizer) chooses an item from a list so that every item has an equal (or deliberately weighted) chance. This one shows the choice as a spinning wheel but works for any list.
How do I randomize the order of a whole list?
Press Shuffle to reorder the list instantly, or set “Winners per spin” to the number of items: the draw order becomes a random order you can export.
Can I make some items more likely?
Yes. Add *2, *5 or any number after an item. The slice grows and the exact percentage for each item is listed under the entries.
Is the randomizer truly random?
It uses the browser’s cryptographically secure random generator, the same source used for encryption keys, plus an unbiased selection method so no item is favoured by rounding.
Is a wheel randomizer better than a random selector list?
Both give the same fair odds. A wheel randomizer shows the pick happening, which a group tends to trust more, while a plain random selector just prints a result. This randomiser wheel does both: it spins, then shows the winner in large text and keeps a history.
